This deck was designed to "play" as much land as possible for grinding-out the MTGA daily quest related to playing lands. It can "play" nearly all the land in the deck every game. It has a few stall mechanics to help ensure the games go long enough to keep playing lands, and the land play mechanics are durable enough that the desk doesn't get completly shut-down very often. It also wins remarkably often in History Play against the decks it gets paired-up against, considering it is not in any way designed to win.
When the deck wins, it's usually from putting the Helm of the Host
on Meteor Golem
or God-Pharaoh's Statue
, which means the win condition is really Karn, the Great Creator
. Sometimes the wins come from out-valuing a deck with few responses using Karn, Scion of Urza
or Ugin, the Ineffable
.
If you were specifically looking to use the deck for wins, you might swap in Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
, but I'd wager you'd start getting paired-up against cheese decks or ugin hate decks if you did that.
