The plan for the most part is your basic Esper control scheme, milling them with Psychic Corrosion
. Then use The Wanderer
and Command the Dreadhorde
combo to claim their deck for the Dreadhorde and use their cards to win.
Obvious shortcomings in my early testing: Sometimes aggro just pops off too quick. I tried adding Revitalize
main deck to fix some draws and keep life up against aggro, but sometimes you still just get beat down. Against control your only real win cons are Teferi, Hero of Dominaria
, Mill, and maybe stealing their planeswalkers.
Any suggestions are welcome as I am still working out the kinks. I dont expect this deck to be "competitive" but it was a fun experiment to get to work and when it does it is so satisfying.
