Hi lads, this is my shot on creating a rotation-proof deck, that will do well in Standart.
Angels overall will get so much better with Fatal Push
, Chandra, Torch of Defiance
and Unlicensed Disintegration
out of the way.
Resplendent Angel
won't get Fatal Pushed anymore, Shalai, Voice of Plenty
no longer gets killed by a Chandra on turn 4 and Lyra Dawnbringer
is no longer a victim of Unlicensed Disintegration.
To back up our early game, we focus on low mana knights such as Knight of Grace
, Benalish Marshal
and Steel Leaf Champion
with 2 copies of History of Benalia
in the deck as well.
To even further push our knight synergy, i added 4 copies of Dub
, which labels our angels as knights as well to profit from History of Benalia and gives buffed creatures First Strike and +2/+2. First Strike doesn't seem much at first glance, but combined with Kwende, Pride of Femeref
on the board, they also get double strike, which in many cases helps us to reach the 5 health lifelink threshhold to trigger Resplendent Angels token creating ability.
The 2 copies of Danitha Capashen, Paragon
are in there to make Dub cheaper and also to get the double strike from Kwende. With Benalish Marshal on the board it triggers the Resplendent ability as well. The same goes for Knight of Grace.
With many 2x or 3x white/green mana requirements, we try to fix our mana with 2 Adventurous Impulse
and 2 Evolving Wilds
togehter with 4 Unclaimed Territory
.
And for the ones of you wondering why it is rotation-proof with 
in it. Remember we will get a new shockland with "Temple Garden", that we can just swap.
