Learn more Download For WindowsToday we are ramping rapidly with enchantments so we can easily drop 7 cost bombs on turn 4. The way this works is we cast Rustvine Cultivator or Portent Tracker
on turn 2. Then turn 3 we cast either Blighted Burgeoning
or Grafted Growth
(make sure to add an oil counter to your Rustvine Cultivator). Then turn 4 assuming you hit you land drops you can tap and untap the enchanted land for 4 mana and tap your 3 other lands for 3 mana and drop Atraxa, Grand Unifier
, Etali, Primal Conqueror // Etali, Primal Sickness
, or Titan of Industry
. We also have a bunch of other cards that can be outlets for our excessive mana. We are playing Polukranos Reborn // Polukranos, Engine of Ruin
which can be a big body early and then with mana can flip into a lifelinking beast against mono red. Skitterbeam Battalion
we can cast for 5 mana or 9 mana giving us flexibility for when we need to just create a bunch of bodies for less mana. Herbology Instructor // Malady Invoker
is another tool against mono red as it gains us life and serves as a 3 toughness blocker and lightning rod. If we end up with extra mana we can pay to flip Herbology Instructor // Malady Invoker
and remove a small creature an opponent controls. Lastly, we are playing a variety of card types to enable Atraxa which include Invasion of Ixalan // Belligerent Regisaur
for some solid card draw and Lukka, Bound to Ruin
as a decent planeswalker.
