Fading Hope
stalls the opponent till Smoldering Egg // Ashmouth Dragon
and Manaform Hellkite
become online. Bouncing creatures, forcing the opponent to keep recasting them, and not allowing them to attack gives the breathing space the deck requires in the early game. Scrying helps find answers and lands (hence only 24). Its low mana cost grants it greater flexibility when compared to counterparties - especially in combination with Expressive Iteration
on Turn 3 or as a response to Turn 2 Werewolf Pack Leader
and Luminarch Aspirant
, with the disadvantage of slowing down the Smoldering Egg // Ashmouth Dragon

Bloodthirsty Adversary
I like to use as a back-up and to buy more time by bouncing creatures or re-casting Expressive Iteration.
Win Cons
Smoldering Egg // Ashmouth Dragon, Manaform Hellkite, and Goldspan Dragon
all bring immense value if they are on the board when Alrund's Epiphany
is cast, usually leading to a Victory. If any of these cards are in hand, the main objective of the rest of the deck is to stall.
Through the dragons and cheap sorcery and instant spells, the deck can still be an intimidating adversary, without the extra turns.
Note
This deck is geared towards creature-heavy match-ups. A BO3 version is still WIP for the control match-ups.
