Today, we're hitting the Mythic Standard ladder with Azorius Control. With the current MTG Arena Standard meta fully stocked with Mono White, Selesnya Enchantments, Naya Runes and Boros Aggo, NOW is the time for Azorius Control to shine. This deck is a perfect match to all the aggro decks out there right now.
We have Professor of Symbology early to grab a lesson a provide a blocker. We have Doomskar to clear the board, Memory Deluge for card draw, Fading hope for cheap bounce (which absolutely devastates a creature with several Runes attached) and a few other utility spells to ensure we hit our lands and get to our finishers.
Our win conditions are many. We have Hullbreaker Horror, Emeria's Call and Mascot Exhibition if we get it early with a Professor of Symbology.
Even if we can't manage these, we still have Hall of the Storm Giants and Cave of the Frost Dragon to swing in for crushing lethal damage in the late game.
