Control the board until you can start dropping Planeswalker bombs.
I've had a little trouble keeping life up until I have a good board state. Originally I had 4x copies of Thoughtseize
, but I would wind up dying too quickly, especially with a Phyrexian Arena
or two on the battlefield. But Vraska, Golgari Queen
can clean those up nicely if they get out of hand.
If you have 3, or all 4 Planeswalkers of this deck down at once, it's extremely difficult to overcome, and you will overwhelm your opponent.
Sideboard is mostly for aggro, and control decks. The mainboard is great at midrange.
I made a "Maybe Board" simply for preference. A lot of the cards in that list do the same things, just a little bit different spice.
