Description

I've had so much fun with this deck, it's been something I've wanted to test out for a while but without Historic Brawl there was never really a way to test the power level. The deck feels pretty nice to play, you want to try and ramp to Sissay and storm the board ready for the Growing Rites transformation, once you have that you have enough mana to do most things. I decided not to put boardwipes in my version because I'm incredibly greedy when it comes to playing. You can get punished heavily for playing the same, but without being able to bring everything back easily I decided to risk it (I've included the main board clear that will suit the deck I just never played enough to pull it from one of the many packs and I didn't want to craft something that I would rarely use, but if you have it I would recommend using it, maybe take out the Immortal Sun instead since it does screw over the deck quite a bit if you end up going down the planeswalker route. There is also a very solid arguement for incuding the Questing Beast, that much block text can never be wrong! The value and pressure the Beast gives is massive being a deathtouch vigilance creature that can deal with planeswalkers on turn 5 and can also deal with any indestructible creature they might slam down. I did include it at one point, but I wanted to go for greedier plays.

Just as a note, I ended up taking out the Immortal Sun despite the advantage it gives it does turn mean the planeswalkers in the deck are just dead draws, I do think the card draw is useful but I replaced it with a good old fashion meme Helm of the Host, it basically wants to sit on the Sha'lai to ensure everything has protection, after that it can be moved to anything else. I did toy with the idea of putting in a card to animate a Mirari's Wake and then equipping it but that is far to convoluted and not needed unless you want to play your entire deck at once.
