Description

I have no ploblems admitting this deck is heavily inspired by one of Legend's videos published during the pre release event. However, there are some major changes due to how fast the meta has become since Slickshot Showoff made its appearance: a lower curve in general, and I removed all combo elements in favor of a deck that is roughly 80% ramp and 20% control.

There's the usual Arcavios + Doppelgang plan but here it's mostly used as a deterrent: if opponent goes too low and is too relaxed about the situation on the battlefield, or in case of stalemate, you can simply go face to force a reaction and shift tempo in your favor.

Doc Aurlock is used quite fairly as well: there are 6 plot cards and 3 adventures to gain advantage from, for a total of 2 against 9 which feels balanced enough. Plus, as per usual, spells that gain flashback with Slickshot Lockpicker are discounted as well - you can potentially cast This Town Ain't Big Enough for 1 mana and still draw with Up the Beanstalk.

Vaultborn Tyrant is INSANE, better than all Etalis, Atraxas and Titans of Industry in my opinion (at least here). I absolutely love this card and I will probably experiment more with it in the future.

Ngl, I expected the deck to be weak in ranked but, to my surprise, it's actually performing quite well. Enjoy!
