Learn more Download For WindowsThis deck brew is based off Arjuna from Arena Craft Pod Cast's Golgari Storm the Festival ramp deck. I swapped out the Black for my choices in white measured in a similar way to his deck.
Vorinclex, Monsterous Raider was choosen because, to use a little Arjuna isms here ;), A of all: It can shut down a lot of Counters on permament stratigies. (Sagas, Runes, Etc..) B of all: It can also hurt planeswalkers where it counts, their Loyality. You wouldn't believe how many times I've played Vorinclexy, attacked, and the opponent on auto pilot plays Wandering Emperor to try to -2 exile Vorinclex.
Yasharn, Implacable Earth was choosen as a way to get Land out as a substitute for the Binding the Old Gods that was in Arjuna's Golgari deck. It is also a good use to shut down treasure builds.
The Goal of the deck, like any ramp deck, is to try to get your lands out as fast as possible in order to play your big casting cost spells a turn or two faster then usual. Spells/Creatures like Storm the Festival or Titan of Industry are great examples of that.
Titan also helps serve as one way to gain life which helps mitigate stratigies leaning into the annoying found in Ob Nix.. Also helps having Life link counters from Elspeth Resplendent. Also a useful tool is Workshop Warchief and Glorious Sunrise. The Warchief how ever is typically Blitzed in and it's token gets copied by Esika's Chariot.
Which also combos with the old favorite Wrenn and Seven and since we have Vorinclex in the deck, it can also be doubled to help bring back anything you may have lost during the game. Or Double the tokens off Wrenn with Chariot.
Any other questions about the build can be left below and I'll try to answer them when I can.
