Ms. Bumbleflower's Equity
The purpose of this deck is to be a political group hugger. It embodies the full consequences of equity. The role of the deck's pilot in the pod is to simply try and make sure no other player gets so far ahead that the rest of the pod can't catch up.
The end game of this deck is to encourage lots of attacking by giving out combat tricks via Ms. Bumbleflower, giving extra +1/+1 counters in additional ways, goading, and via offering free creatures to other members in the pod.
The true win condition of the deck is not a win condition at all; it is equity's endgame, sameness. Everyone gets the same outcome via forcing a draw through a two card combo of Life and Limb
+ Sporemound
+ a Land card.
While most of this deck's "wins" won't end in the draw (no tutors for the draw combo), the balance of encouraging everyone to attack with the rare chance at a draw should result in a fun tension every game.
There's a few cards to take advantage of the combat encouragement, if you decide to try for a W in the late game. Byrke, Long Ear of the Law
and Kalonian Hydra
can pump counters on your battlefield. Alternatively, you can try to use your accumulated cards to clear the board with Hullbreaker Horror
. Then finally, there's Reins of Power
to grab someone else's awesome board state and run them over with their own deck.
