Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner
is what it's all about. One of the big draw-backs of playing a bunch of stompy creatures is that they lose steam quickly, but with Kiora drawing cards you can constantly pump out power. Bonecrusher Giant
is probably even better than Questing Beast
in this particular deck because it gives you early interaction, and the body it gives you afterwards can also draw you a card. The Great Henge
really drives the late-game power because you can tap it twice with Kiora to gain 4 life and often draw you at-least 2 cards with the way the deck is built. A couple of Lotus Field
s can provide some serios ramp with Kiora too, and if you're thinking the deck sounds over-dependent on Kiora, you can just about guarantee you find her with Sphinx of Foresight
and maybe a mulligan. The deck wins the most when I focus on developing my flyers and casting a God-Eternal Rhonas
.
Inevitably too weak for Historic now, but could possibly be somewhat playable with updates.
