Made this kinda messing around with Teferi & Key to the Archives (& let's be real, Discover the Formula also), and then it turned into a full-blown super friends pile.
7-1 & (currently) 4-0 in Alchemy bo1 Events. 11-1 in Mythic, up to top 400, so far.
Very strong vs. the Black Draineyz decks, and has handedly beaten Dragons and Clerics the handful of games vs. them.
Seems like a stronger-than-expected start, and I'm positive the lands & Forsworn Pally/Merchant are not 100% optimal -- but so far they've been getting the job done in games you don't start with Ghast + Deadly Dispute. Forsworn Pally was just a way to get to 4 mana on turn 3 for Key/Sorin/Teferi. I will say that Sea Gate has performed better than Emerias Call, but this deck somehow floods often so having late ways to dump mana for big value is big, and with the residual value from tokens off the Planeswalkers you're often able to safely take the turn 'off' for Sea Gate/Emeria's, or Discover the Formula.
