A Mizzix's Mastery deck, but in a way i haven't seen yet. Build around Emergent Ultimatum and a lot of big red spells.
2 main ways you can win:
- Mid game by overload ability of Mizzix's Mastery. Seize the Spoils let you ramp a bit faster.
- Emergent Ultimatum combo: Brash Taunter / Star of extinction / Omniscience. Or: Fiery Emancipation / Sundering Stroke / Omniscience. Good for 20 or 21 damage.
So if they haven't gain life above 20lp, they have to give you Omniscience. That's also game:)
Little things in deck:
- The World Tree for hard casting Emergent Ultimatum. It happens!
- Dual Strike for those pesky counter spell decks. The copy of Mizzix's Mastery won't be countered. You can still pull of the combo on turn 4 if you used a Seize the Spoils on turn 3. If you can't find the right cards, Dual Strike can also speed up your draw engine.
You can make some tweaks in the mana base to have more options. Dual Strike can be removed for another Omniscience and Triumphant Reckoning. I don't know about a side deck. Maybe someone can post me one.
For now this decks seems fine, i will try to get in mythic with this one. I won today 8 games in a row, but im' only in platinum now. Half of those games i won on turn 5 the latest. I love the fact that's it's mono red(-ish). No problems with mana:) The most common Emergent Ultimatum / Mizzix's Mastery deck with Final parting and extra turn cards is probably better i think??? But in best of one this one, i feel, is less predictable and more fun!
