So I won't go over every single card in the deck but I will start by saying that right now I think the deck has a really good matchup against any other types of control decks, and pretty natural matchups against most other decks like Jund sacrifice, temur rec, fires of invention. but the deck is really weak against mono-red. Sometimes It can steal some games from them if I resolve a Staggering Insight onto a Brineborn Cutthroat.

Here ill go into some interesting inclusions in the mainboard.

Karametra's Blessing- This card is an all-star in the deck it works as a great combat trick to trade into bigger problematic creatures like Hydroid Krasis. It also protects your important creature that has Staggering Insight from board wipes like Shatter the Sky and Storm's Wrath.

Staggering Insight- Another all-star in the deck most of the time you are casting this on turn 3 or 4 however because you obviously always want to protect the creature you attach it to with Alsied of Life's Bounty, Starlit Mantle, or one of the counterspells in the deck. It allows you to always be drawing more cards for counters and also gaining more life (crucial against monored... If your not dead by turn 4 haha)

Mystical Dispute- Could be considered an odd inclusion but I think it's fine as a 2 off in the deck since so many decks run some amount of blue spells nowadays (Control, temur rec, jeskai fires, simic ramp) you can sideboard it out game 2 if they are not running blue, and worst-case scenario it's a somewhat useable counterspell.

Starlit Mantle- A decent way of protecting your creature with Staggering Insight It also makes the creature a little bigger putting your opponent on a shorter clock. also obviously synergizes with Karametra's Blessing well if you have not drawn a Karametra's Blessing yet. overall Probably fine as a 2 off but I'm not sold on it yet.

Here ill go into some of the sideboard inclusions

Grafdigger's Cage- just shuts down the cat oven combo really well. it also could in theory shut down stuff like Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath although im nor quite sure if I would sideboard it in against a deck running that because there are already answers to it in the main board with Brazen Borrower and Essence Capture

Shatter the Sky- Really only here for the mono-red matchup There are only 19 lands in the deck but I can't really think of any other answers great for mono-red so if you have suggestions please let me know.

Aether Gust- can just be really annoying against mono-red and green decks. with this and Brazen Borrower hopefully, you can stall long enough to find the counterspell you need for the really problematic cards.

I have thought about putting banishing light in the sideboard as well, but I'm not sold, it seems too slow for the deck.

Lastly, some problem cards for the deck

Teferi, Time Raveler- While I think the matchup against control goes pretty well most of the time, it gets really sketchy if they are able to resolve him, just totally shuts down the deck but obviously the plan is just to never let him resolve and always have a counter up if you are playing against BW decks. All of the counters in the sideboard help deal with him obviously. also Brazen Borrower if you draw the counter for him.

Narset, Parter of Veils- Not nearly as bad as Teferi but she shuts down your draws Hopefully you already have a creature down to try to stop her as fast as possible. and same deal as with Teferi, you really want to counter this one most of the time.

Cavalier of Thorns Big boys with reach are really annoying since your primary targets for Staggering Insight are 1/1 flyers. sometimes you can kill it if your flyer has Starlit Mantle, Staggering Insight, and 2 Karametra's Blessing in hand. but that's a lot of resources to deal with one creature obviously. the plan is to Essence Capture or Quench but hopefully you have your opponent nearly dead before they have a chance to resolve one.

That's about it I have seen some builds of this deck running Faerie Vandal but I think Brineboard Cutthroat is just a better option.

Again I'm looking for constructive criticism here so, please give me some card ideas for improving the deck, but also tell me why you would include it and what cards you think are cuts from the deck.
