Really simple use Calim, Djinn Emperor
to tap down and annoy people.
Use Chalice of the Void
on 1 or 2 to shutdown Izzet Wizards/Aggro.
Use Fragment Reality
on whatever you want. Use The Wandering Emperor
to exile things that enter tapped.
Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim
is here for a fun finisher, I just wanted to use it. Super easy to Ult too.
Seek New Knowledge
is useful in a toolbox sort of way to hit whatever, including the MDFC lands.
Jace, Mirror Mage
is not better than Narset but I just like to change it up and try out some things.
Archmage's Charm
is a bit of liability due to the manabase. I didn't put any painlands on purpose. If I did, probably drop Blast Zone
and one Castle Vantress
for two painlands.
The deck is tuned to best of one, so its a bit of mix.
EDIT:
Definitely needed to add the painlands to stay consistent on colors with the smaller manabase for control.
Dropped a few copies of Fragment Reality for a Pithing Needle
and Fateful Absence
to deal with planewalkers better.
Another edit:
Due to Goblin Charbelcher/Pact of Negation being rampant in Bo1, you will need dovin's veto somehwere in there.
