Description

Back with Another Prismari Discard style deck, this thing is ladder ready and Bo3 Playable with a plausable sideboard suggested. The main weakness this deck has is to green stompy type decks, so Burning hands can be a clutch swap. 

 

Win conditions are Efreet Flamepainter or Arcane Bombardment - Flamepainter pops off between turns 1-4 and if the game gets into the later turns 6-9+ then Arcane bombardment really takes off.

 

Fateful absecne - Hold this up vs ob nix or take down big bads that outscale your targeted damage spells.

River - Gets painter through, keeps it from getting killed, or bounce a big threat, a wonderful card to get under bombardment.

Based Cleric - Tutor up what you need, Bombardment - Frost and Fire - Skalds

Igneous - Standard burn spell and learn tool, lead with this card

Spoils/Prismari command - these are your ramp tools, discard your big spells and and ramp treasures. Use command's other abilities as needed.

Flamepainter - This card is butter, if its allowed to live, get it through with Access tunnel or River and enjoy the show.

Skalds - Great card to dig with when you hand is just full of discard spells, use the +1's to get flame painter out of Frost and Fire kill range. Tutor it when you are already holding your other enchants or discard it when all is well.

Frost and Fire - Great board wipe, scry to fix your next draw and pop off an arcane or other large spell to refill your hand.

Outburst/Opus - perfect turn 2 discard play, always discard opus over outburst when possible, outburst is better to hard cast as it allows you to pick a card. These are your secondary ramp and primary discard targets.

Gate/Singularity - Primary discard targets get these into the grave early and let eftreet or bombardment work. 

 

 

Don't be concerned about Painter, yes it can die to your board wipe, yes it exiles spells and makes them unusable for bombard. These two cards in parctice are far more synergistic than they seem on paper. Efreet allows you to PICK the spell you want, sometimes bombardment just wants to target your discard spells, it also becomes effective 1-2 turns before arcane, you will also have PLENTY of spells to trigger off in the grave. They are really a double threat, as there are few meta decks that have alot of creature removal, that also have alot of enchantment removal currently. 

 

The lesson spells in this deck are useful, especialy if they get under bombardment, Academic Probation under Arcane bombardment is just money when combined with your ability to bounce permanents.
