The path we'll almost always take is Yawning Portal -> Dungeon Level -> Twisted Caverns -> Lost Level -> Muiral's Graveyard -> Deep Mines -> Mad Wizard's Lair. We want to stop the enemy from hitting us and make chump blockers to stay alive. Runestone Caverns is very situationally useful but most of the time we want to use our mana on spamming Acererak or otherwise not dying. Losing one of our win conditions to Runestone Caverns also hurts a lot.
Bontu's Monument is incredibly important, because it lets us cast Acererak more often. Same goes for The Immortal Sun. The extra draw from that one is immensely helpful but mostly we care about doing the entire dungeon for as little mana as possible and casting as many spells as possible.
When we have Nyx Lotus in play we have to activate full control when casting Acererak in order to tap it in response to Acererak's ability for one extra mana.
Rankle, Master of Pranks should almost exclusively be used for discard and sacrifice. We don't want to give our opponent cards and our Acererak spam helps us look for answers and delay the board until we can go off.
Our primary win conditions are:
Acererak the Archlich spam into Tendrils of Agony
Acererak the Archlich spam with Aetherflux Reservoir and Paradox Engine
Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Exquisite Blood triggered with any of the life loss or gain life effects in the deck.
Gray Merchant of Asphodel if we end up with a big board state for some reason.
