Today we are playing a deck built around the Smuggler's Surprise
looking to cheat in big creatures like the new dinosaur Vaultborn Tyrant
. Pillage the Bog
is an awesome card for finding cards we need in the deck. Outcaster Trailblazer
gives us some "ramp" and card draw to power up our hand after dumping creatures onto the battlefield. Spinewoods Armadillo
is a secret all-star in the deck as it helps us keep finding land drops, gain life, and serves as a massive body to drop onto the field. Surrak and Goreclaw
gives creatures trample and sometimes haste which can allow us to surprise attack our opponent on our turn instead of waiting until the opponents turn to cast Smuggler's Surprise. Vaultborn Tyrant is an absolute monster of a card because of it's ability to gain so much life and draw so many cards. Watch the video to see how the deck performs!
