Historic Anthology II
It feels great to play Historic right now, there are a lot of brews out there to check out and also new Ranked Ladders to play! These new ladders will also count towards your progress in our Constructed ladder! If you prefer to play the events we also have new ladders for those too. Let's get right into some decks you can try out, I'm starting off with my favorites and working my way down.
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben
is a card you will see a lot of in Historic, so let us start off with a deck from content creator ThyrixSyx using her in his "Death and Taxes" deck which includes a great video of him going through the deck and also playing it. Death and Taxes is a Legacy deck in control style and not to be confused with the classic archetype White Weenie. Basically it tries to 'tax' the opponent's resources using cards like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Rishadan Port
. The deck is famous for its number of tricks it can do and ThyrixSyx has created his Historic take on it here.

LegenVD's Naya Ranger uses the new card Ranger of Eos
with a bunch of Giants from Throne of Eldraine, a very interesting list coupled with a deck tech and gameplay video.

Jeskai Fires is a really powerful deck in Standard right now, and yes it is even more powerful in Historic JMGH provides us with a great deck and a video with gameplay, unfortunately not easy to us non-Spanish speakers to understand but the decklist is FIRE, none the less.

Gildenmagier has a great writeup of his Boros aggro deck. He averages a win rate of 72%/65% (play/draw) with it and has around 150 games played. A solid deck if you like smacking people in the face with the Embercleave

Looking at the new cards in Historic Anthology II Platinum Angel
stands out as a card that screams for attention with some game bending rulings. It is good that we have people like electrobrains built an angel deck including the card. This is a fairly controlling version of Boros Angels that looks to tempo ahead in the middle of the game with Fires of Invention, draw cards with Immortal Sun, Arch of Orazca, or Dawn of Hope and life gain, loop Elspeth Conquers Death and Cavalier of Dawn, and win with flyers.

andreliverod's go-to deck for some budget rounds in Historic (Hey that's me!), this is a great budget deck for Historic and was played a lot during Dominaria standard. Easy to fill up with commons like if you are missing cards.
