Sarulf, Realm Eater with his never ending hunger to devour everything, likes your opponents permanents dying. Everything must go.
Sarulf allows us to stall our opponents, and get our attrition pieces online, there are a couple of tutors in the deck too that can help set you up.
The entire creature suite is designed with mostly enter the battlefield effects to kill your opponents permanents. There are a few activated destroy something effects too. As things die Sarulf gets bigger to then exile everything when he removes the counter's.
Win through attrition (Value) : there are cards in the deck that when things die opponets lose life. We slowly win by dealing damage to our opponents, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Falkenrath Noble, Massacure Wurm, Poison-Tip Archer, Dogged pursuit, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Corrupt, revenge of ravens, Underworld Dreams. All help deal that incremental damage to help win through attrition.
*Even if cards like Massacure Wurm die at the same time, (Someone else boardwipes) the death's of all creatures will still trigger and opponents will still lose life.
* Sarulf doesn't cause the abilites of Massacure Wurm to trigger, because he doesn't destroy he exiles. That's okay, we have plenty of removal to get the effects of Falkenrath Noble, Massacure Wurm, Poison-Tip Archer etc. to trigger.
Wincons: Profane command, Hurricane, Skullstorm, Corrupt, Gray Merchant of Asphodel together with some help can end games for you.
