You like Value? Then this is the deck for you!
I suggest watching my video first since I go over the decklist and show some gameplay as well, maybe sprinkle in a little meme or two.
Assuming you have seen my video, lets go over some tips and tricks with this juicy pile of value.
What kind of starting hand am I looking for?
The deck hat a lot of 4 and upwards cmc cards so try to keep a hand with a one or two drop.
Don’t be afraid to cast a Hydroid Krasis for x=2 this deck can basically not run out of value so just try to keep your life total as high as you can.
Once you have the Vivien on the board, protect her with everything you’ve got. Not only because she is the centerpiece of the deck. It’s also the gentleman thing to do. But seriously though Vivien is an absolute beast in this deck and you sould try to keep her around.
Once you get Vivien online, search up Spark Doubles to copy her. Then once you have 7 mana, play an Agent of Treachery, get a Thassa and go to town.
Always keep the boardstate in mind . If you dont need blockers and have a Spark Double on the board, get the Yorion and flicker everything that can get you etb value (and Vivien to protect her from attackers). When everything comes back, choose to copy Yorion with Spark Double and repeat this every turn.
What! The opponent didn’t scoop yet?! Time for the King Kong Combo! Use Kogla to return an Agent of Treachery to your hand for another yoink. If you have a Spark Double posing as an Agent, you reset this as well with our chonky ape.
Always remember: If you cast Fblthp off the top of your library or tutor it out with Vivien, you’ll trigger its double carddraw!
Last tip: Kogla is an absolute powerhouse in the right matchup. Sometimes its better to tutor out Kogla into Thassa since she retriggers his etb fight ability. The ape is way thicker than an Agent and can swing the game really quick. Btw it kills Anax and Embercleaves while attacking . I mean if you’ve seen my video, you know how hard it stomps on Jeskai Fires as well...
Oh, the sideboard.
Well its early in the meta to have a real sideboard plan. Right now I am running the one you see here. Pretty basic stuff... Destiny Spinner, Setessan Petitioner, Mesmerizing Benthid and Biogenic Oose as one-offs to tutor out in certain match-ups.
