Today we are playing a deck built around Quintorius, Loremaster
and Invasion of Tolvada // The Broken Sky
. The goal of the deck is make use of Quintorius's ability to make 3/2 spirits each turn along with flipping Invasion of Tolvada // The Broken Sky so all our tokens are stronger and have lifelink. Sanctuary Warden
and Fable of the Mirror-Breaker // Reflection of Kiki-Jiki
also synergize super well with this plan as the warden is 5/5 flyer that can easily flip the battle, draws cards, and makes tokens. Fable of the Mirror-Breaker // Reflection of Kiki-Jiki can make a token copy Sanctuary Warden for a turn which allow for even more card draw and tokens. Besides that we are playing some removal, including Sunder the Gateway
which can simply make a 2/2 token. As some of the big free hits we can get with Quintorius, Loremaster's ability to cast spell without paying their mana costs, we are playing Breach the Multiverse
and Portal to Phyrexia
. Breach the Multiverse can help to fill our graveyard for Quintorius to exile, and if the Breach hits Kroxa and Kunoros
we can potentially double reanimate two creatures from our graveyard.
Watch Match 2 to see this deck really pop off! Admittedly the match could have gone even smoother if I saw that I had the mana to cast the Portal to Phyrexia during one of my turns.
