The Meta being Benalia WW, Hazoreth Red, Fish & Dinos on the aggressive and UW and UBx Planeswalker on the control side the mixture of spells is ... complicated to say the least. It is basicly a tapout control deck with Karn as the main cardadvantage engine with the option to lock a game down with Lich´s Mastery with either lifegain in hand or life total 5 or less.
The win rate is below 50% against either aggro or control. :-( But it is fun to play.
Vs aggressive strategies you try to get the board clear by turn 6-8 trading life as your resource. Either you get to into the control seat via Karn, netting you an extra card a turn or turning the game upside down by dropping Lich´s Mastery. Now their goal is to remove your graveyard and hand as fast as possible as one lifegain spell or a forgotten Sunscourge Champion in the graveyard can spiral out the game quickly drawing you 3-6 cards a turn.
Vs control strategies you draw their counter and Duress and Doomfall try to help you dropping Karn or Lich´s Mastery.
