So to add a little clarification to the post some friends and I who like to build do a deck dash. Which is basically a timed build of historic or standard Brawl. We draw a deck building constraint out of a stack and then draft our commanders and get going. Lately its been hard to get the full four together so we're trying a few Bo3 matches with just two of us.
This time we did new commanders from the Forgotten Realms set and we also weren't allowed to have any nonland enter the battlefield effects in our deck. We had fifteen minutes to build and let me tell you this week was hard. I had to take a pass through several times to cut things that were etb that I'm just so used to wanting in my decks.
