Description

A purely enchantment based midrange Doom Foretold deck.

Theros Beyond Death made this deck much stronger.

It's very good for BO1 climbing.

Objective

You remove all of your opponent's stuff, stay alive and draw whenever you can.

Once your opponent loses steam, you play a Dance of the Manseimage to bring back all of your enchantments and artifacts as 4/4 creatures.

Card Purpose

  • Dance of the Manseimage
There are 4 copies so there is no need to be conservative. Once in a while you'll have a bad draw and you don't get many enchantments or artifacts. So don't be afraid to use a Dance of the Manseimage early on. It can help you get back in the game.

  • Omen of the Seaimage
In the old Doom Foretold deck I felt like it was missing a little bit of card draw. This card perfectly fills that need for card draw plus it's an enchantment.

  • Elspeth's Nightmareimage
Great for on the ladder to deal with aggro.
But even against control and midrange it's pretty good because you get exile a card and it also gets rid of the graveyard.

  • Teferi, Time Ravelerimage
Just a broken card. You can return some of your enchantments / artifacts if you need to.

Tips

  • Keep all the 2 mana cost cards in your oppening hand and maybe also an Oath of Kayaimage and a Elspeth's Nightmareimage.
The goal in the early game is to survive and stabilize.

  • Sacrifice some of your artifacts or enchantments when you have a lot of mana and nothing to do. This helps you set-up a powerful Dance of the Manseimage play once you draw that card.

  • Always keep 1 artifact or enchantment around so you can use that as a sacrifice for Doom Foretoldimage.

  • Counter decks are difficult to deal with. This is where Teferi, Time Ravelerimage comes in. Try to get it down asap.

Sideboard

This deck is really fun to play and it's competitive too. I hope you like it.

Cheers.
