Description

(i'm not a native english speaker, so, sorry for all the gramathical horrors you migth find)

A Simple storm deck(at least, as simple as storm decks go).

Well first and foremost, this is a janky deck, dont expect it to beat agro decks most of the times, while it can do it, its not the norm.

I went with a gates build, for various reasons, cheaper to fix mana(al gates are common), a nice aoe clear, an amazing draw engine, and some ramp.

Some tips to pilot it.

Vs agro, mulligan one or twice, you need that aoe clear, and 2 gates and a non-gate mana, so you can do an clear on turn 3, on turn 4 its too slow sometimes, red just shocks, or bolts your face for the kill, white goes wide again fast, and u nless you find another clear, you die. interestingly enogth, it does decently vs mono blue.

vs midrange, you have a nice time vs them, as long you get some clears of the anoying creatures, most midranges runs a lot of spot removal, and this decks runs 4 creatures, mostly for a late win or the card draw.

vs control, as long you can manage to get a summit early in the game, you can win, you can most of times, match their draw or even outmatch it, and land draws arent as bad for you.

vs combo, well, the faster win, you dont have much in the way of disrupts, but same as vs control, outdraw them.

 

A comentary on  a few cards.

Gaea's blessing- you draw a lot, so you need a way to avoid decking yourself, i used Clear the mind, but its more or less useless vs mill decks, and sometimes you dont want all your graveyard back in your deck.

Island-Steam Vents- lest face it, gates are slow, and playing a clear or a summit a turn too late can make you lose a gate you migth win. the 9 non-gate mana help with this somewhat.

Banefire- another win con, while mostly you will be shocking and bolting the face of you oponents, sometimes you dont get a Storm, or you are playing vs control, the 2 banefires takes care of that.

Other than that, i think the deck explains itself, so good luck and go melt people faces
