This deck has two main ideas:
- Get Pestilent Spirit
on the board to cast Blazing Volley and clean whatever dirty things the opponent dares to play. - Apply pressure to the opponent's head with all the aggro. If you get wiped, at least the creatures will ping for some damage by themselves like Footlight Fiend or via Judith, the Scourge Diva, and you can always bring back your main offense with Gruesome Menagerie. Midnight Reaper is a great wipe insurance as always.
- Cant wipe the board? A creature dares to stay in the board? No problemo, just add Bladebrand into your sideways monkey aka Fanatical Firebrand and throw it. You can also do this with any of the creatures that ping when they die
- Maindeck Tibalt, Rakish Instigator? Are you dumb? Yes, BUT Tibalt actually makes sense here. Even with all this wipe insurance, this deck is not good in long games. So we really need to nullify the tempo our opponents get from lifegain. Also, Tibalt spawns 2 Footlight Fiend, and thats pretty cool. Do not bully.
