Learn more Download For WindowsDon't be scared to muligan, this deck pulls mad card advantage. The gist is to discard the big stuff to the graveyard, then bring them onto the battle field with return cards.
Efreet casts spells from graveyard - use Access tunnel to push it thourgh blockers.
Velomachus casts spells from library - this should be your priorty discard/respawn target. You almost always want to pull him onto the board frist as often ressing him, attacking will net you a second res.
Surtland casts spells from you hard - free everything you are holding, pop off those Utli's baby.
BattleDriver enables Vel to proc Ultimatums with his attack upon entry. Don't hold up Vel trying to get him on the board, just recast Vel from grave later.
Things to know:
If you are not holding an efreet then discard ultimatums as secondary and put the big critters into the graveyard until daddy giant comes along. Make sure you think ahead, often times attacking with Vel before playing anything is wise so you can play off what ever spell you can cast with him. Don't forget to fortell your res early if possible, play your triome's either as a frist drop or as the only in hand land. The cycle on them can come in clutch. It's important to gauge the enemy deck to determine if it is going to be a scaling threat. Sometimes Koma needs to be the priority in order to deal with death touch or token spamming decks.
