Learn more Download For WindowsThis is the list I have been using on the mythic ladder on my stream at twitch.tv/Ajforce. Overall the list is ridiculously consistent and it only really struggles against control and monored on the draw. Other than that it is an obvious rogues killer and beats most other decks no matter how fast they are thanks to the kaldheim additions of Crippling Fear, Calamity Bearer, Quakebringer, and of course Valki, God of Lies. Over the course of 66 games on stream I came out to a 60% win rate on the play and a surprising 61% on the draw, and I think that just shows the consistency and ability to really play the game at your own pace regardless of your opponents strategy. A surprising powerhouse of this deck so far has been Valki, God of Lies, and not because of Tibalt, Cosmic Imposter, believe it or not we never actually cast the planeswalker. But Valki, God of Lies so far has been insane with the amount of information you gain from seeing your opponents hand and potentially disrupting their following turns plays. Crippling Fear has put in so much work against every aggro deck I've gone against and honestly I am considering putting in a second one because of the utility and stalling potential it provides. One card that I have a love hate relationship with is Egon, God of Death, mainly because I still can't gauge how good the card is or if I should even have it in the deck. Egon, God of Death can provide some much needed aggression against slower decks as well as a big body against faster decks, and at only 3 cmc it definitely has the value to be good but it can be a little counter intuitive if you end up having to exile a Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger in order to keep him on the field, but I digress he is an overall solid card that can be played on the back side to help with self mill or a huge body early on.
If you have any other questions about the list please stop by the stream and ask me all you want while I'm live, or join my discord channel and ask them there! https://discord.gg/HPnarTB4j4
