Description

Shoutout to JeffHoogland at Twitch.tv for this deck's idea.

Mono Green Ramp will easily bring you to Platinum since most opponents will fail at interacting with you or won't expect this strategy at all.

I switched the original Llanowar Elvesimage for what to me has been the MVP of the deck, Mind Stoneimage. They will Ramp through, will cost 0 with little Ugin in play, won't be exiled by big Ugin's board wipe and will help you draw your bombs late game when you have ramped beyond 8+ lands. You always want an initial hand with Mind Stoneimage and/or Exploreimage.

Nissa will serve a double purpose on stalling vs. aggressive decks and ramping through your big plays.

Oracle of Mul Dayaimage is one of those cards that either shine through the whole match or won't do much at all. It will clean your topdecks from more land draws and will make sure you draw fuel once you have ramped enough. The synergies from the Oracle with all the shufflings / drawing effects from cards like Cultivateimage and Solemn Simulacrumimage will be your "scry" strategy lategame.

The deck feels strong and almost pilots itself smoothly once the lands start to flow.

I mostly played BO1 but figured out a Sideboard with what you may encounter while laddering Gold and beyond.

The deck feels extremely weak against Counterspells, quite marginal in the actual meta. So my Sideboard suggestions are focused on interacting with the graveyard via Scavenging Oozeimage, further stalling the game against aggro with Elder Gargarothimage , contesting key threaths your opponents play (let's say Priest of Forgotten Godsimage or Goblin Chieftainimage ) via Voracious Hydraimage and aiding Ugin at removing key permanents with Vivien Reidimage .

I assume you could toy with the sideboard a bit more and tweak it at your convenience.

Either way, have fun and ramp up!
