This deck is sneaky good. I've wanted to make a unique Mono Black deck, so I played 20 hands in General Play on Arena, and made a few changes. (I removed Ob Nix, and Davriel) and went 14-6.
Vs. Mono Red-Keep the board as clear as you can. Use the fountains to recoup some heath. wait till they blow out their hand and go to work. (Also, if you play a T1 Mono-Red deck in General Play - I fart in your general direction!)
Vs Esper Midrange - Be slightly more patient and hit them when you can. They will get preoccupied with Dreadhorde Invasion
. Let them.
Vs Izzet Drakes. Just wail away. they can't recoup fast enough. Playing more aggro seems to keep that deck on its heels.
I kept a Citadel in my sideboard for Karn to retrieve, if needed. (more of a back-up plan) A pretty standard Artifact sideboard, with the addition of some lesser used cards, due to my cheapness of not grabbing 2 more Spyglasses. Conqueror's Gallion is pretty useful if you can flip it. in case your God-Eternal Bontu
or Massacre Girl
get discarded, you can retrieve them, easily)
*I wouldnt recommend playing this in ranked past Gold. Its more of a fun, janky deck than anything.*
