This is a Korvold list centered around finding and executing an infinite combo involving Putrid Goblin
, a sac outlet (Sling-Gang Lieutenant
, Skirk Prospector
, Woe Strider
) and a permanent that grants +1/+1 counters on creatures that are entering the battlefield (Rhythm of the Wild
, The Great Henge
, Grumgully, the Generous
) to infinitely sac and reanimate Putrid Goblin in order to win the game on the spot. If the sac outlet of choice is either Woe Strider or Skirk Prospector, another piece is needed to win the game on the spot. Mayhem Devil
works with either, while Banefire
can turn the infinite mana granted by Skirk Prospector into infinite uncounterable damage. Looping with Korvold, Fae-Cursed King
on the board or with The Great Henge as a +1/+1 counter dispenser will also draw the entire deck, which translates into a win. It is advided to prioritize tutoring for Putrid Goblin over any other combo piece, as it is the only card that enables the loop that does not have any redundancy in the deck, and the only actually infinite sac fodder.
The rest of the deck's objective is to get Korvold, Fae-Cursed King on the field as fast as possible, or to maximize sac fodder and sac outlets in order to get to the combo as fast as possible. Then there is Ugin, the Spirit Dragon
which is just busted so why not put it there lol.
The deck can probably be improved with the addition of Garruk, Cursed Huntsman
and Liliana, Dreadhorde General
, but I built this deck as a F2P player and the deck already gets the combo consistently, even tho some side plans would be for sure welcome.
Another easy way to improve the deck is to include more rare lands/mana fixing in the manabase, which as a F2P might be difficult to do as I don,t wanna waste rare wildcards on some uninteresting land.
