since some eldraine cards were released early on MTGA i wanted to make a deck using them. unfortunatly savvy hunter and alter fate/order of midnight arent on aetherhub yet so swap totally lost for a 2-2 split....
The plan is fairly simple though, win with a million pings for one from Mayhem Devil
So we need sac outlets and targets. Targets are easy we run 4x Footlight Fiend
and Gutterbones
this is even more pings for one from the fiends, and recursive sac targets on the skele boys. The Savvy Hunter
is another source of sacrifice fodder making food tokens that either gain life draw cards or just provide a clean sac for Vraska, Golgari Queen
's +2.
For Outlets our main plan is Priest of Forgotten Gods
this lady is queen in this shell. With a priest and a mayhem devil on board any activation pings any target for upto 2 forces a sac netting another ping and ramps you and draws cards. She's just that good. Vraska can sac gain life and draw a card all for +2 and late game Liliana, Dreadhorde General
is a source of both sacrifice and outlets and nets even more card draw keeping your efforts fuelled. We also run Plaguecrafter
and Angrath's Rampage
to force sacs and get... yep you guessed it more pings.
For removal we have the crafters and the rampages for sac'ing hard to hit targets we have Sorin's Thirst
for early removal and life gain and Find//Finality as a sweeper for when the mayhem devils just can't ping the board down. for artifacts or enchantments (already a problem and thats without eldraine...) we have Thrashing Brontodon
and vraska's -3, as a bonus the dino is yet another sacrifice. oh and a one of Elderspell because F*** Jeskai Walkers.
Finally we run Order of Midnight
to adventure key cards back out of the graveyard along with the front half of Find // Finality
Once Eldraine releases ill come back and do a sideboard but for now this is seeing about a 65% win rate in the catchup event.
