Description

We go BIG - Jeskai One with the Universe

Deck Tuning

- This is a Whalely deck with lots of multi-colored lands.. You could reduce the blue lands (however I do find the ability to top deck One with Multiverse and direct cast very useful) and cut the tri-lands (but note they could come in clutch with Multiverse late game to “scry away” top deck lands)
- Early game cards and sweepers: hardest part, tbh you need to feel these out - everyone deals with slightly different matchmaking scenarios / meta. I find Brotherhood’s End powerful against soldiers and also work against planeswalkers. Sunset Revelry is nice against non-red. But you may opt in more single removals. Sunfall / Farewell if you are facing eg. enchantments too much
- Late game BIG threats: I find the two planeswalkers very useful and versatile - e.g. Kaya can sometimes break through matchups with enchantment based removal and I never had problem casting it with - Multiverse,  big score treasures and of course reanimating. Etali and Atraxa needs no explanation

Deck Piloting Tips

- Mulligan a bit more aggressively - this is a combo deck. Ideally have at least one combo piece at hand. Relatively low land count: be careful with two-landers and at least have curve-out spells.
Should you have turn 4 big score into reanimating Multiverse, usually it’s better to use treasure to play Multiverse in case top card is a land and you have the deck moving.
- Always prioritizing reanimating Multiverse because you can free cast the other big card
- V.s black etc with graveyard hate: discard with Big Score at instant speed
- V.s control-ly match up / blue color: Hard but try to bait out counters with big score or threaten to reanimate big threats. Sometimes it’s better to hold your cards to straight cast them to consume counter spells than reanimating. Prioritize planeswalkers which don’t get farewelled.
- Mono red: you know how it’s like.... - pray you go first and draw Sunset Revelry.
- Don’t miss lethals which can happen more often than you think with big creatures and haste from Bitter Reunion. Double strike tokens with Invoke counters, etc.
