Deck Tech: A Jeskai Control list utlizing efficient card draw/scry which eventually takes over the game with Shark Typhoon
and Yidaro, Wandering. Neutralize
and Shatter the Sky
give you a good edge vs Gyruda decks. Running 7 sweepers also helps us quite a bit against aggro, Deafening Clarion
shining even more verses sacdos. There's also consideration for Scorching Dragonfire
over Fire Prophecy
if you find yourself wanting to finish off low loyalty Planeswalkers or exile things verses decks like sacdos.
Sideboard Tech: We're setup mostly to counteract Sacdos with Devout Decree
, Heliod's Intervention
, and Grafdigger's Cage
. The latter option also counteracts Gyruda and Winota quite heavily. The other cards fill holes verses other matchups such as flash and control (Mystical Dispute
