Building my personal version of the Meta Gruul deck I copied a while ago, trying to add some complexity and depth without losing its edge. Will update as I try new things out or revert to older versions because I've made a silly mistake adding something completely useless. :D
Biggest change is adding Klothys, but other than that I've played around with the numbers of the other permanents, trying to find a new balance. Also changed the amounts and types of lands around quite a lot.
Currently sitting at 67% win rate in Platinum 2.
Changelog:
0.8: Removed 1x Gruul Spellbreaker. Added 2x Ketria Triome. Very small sample size but I was getting stuck on 2/3 mana sources.
0.85: Removed 1x Forest for 1x Domri's Ambush. Elf decks are breaking my spirit and I wasn't drawing enough removal.
0.87: Removed 1x Gallia of the Endless Dance, 1x Bonecrusher Giant. Added 1x Domri, Anarch of Bolas and 1x Embercleave.
0.88: Removed 3x Domri, Anarch of Bolas. Added 1x Scavenging Ooze, 1x Gallia of the Endless Dance, 1x Gruul Spellbreaker.
Maybe Domri, Anarch of Bolas isn't good enough? Also having some issues with taplands. Hm. More testing to come!
