I know...I know. I'm not super proud of it, but I DID just go 5-0 in the Traditional Historic Event.
It's Esper Control with a little Theros twist! You all know the drill. Control the board with counters and kill spells until you can get to either Teferi, Hero of Dominaria
, or Dream Trawler
. I've won games with both conditions.
Side board is cut and dry for either mirror match or aggro. I've added a couple of Unmoored Ego
s just incase you run into a Nexus of Fate
deck. (Which will happen a lot in the Historic Events)
You could probably add a couple of Ashiok, Nightmare Muse
, but I don't think it's necessary. I haven't had many times where I'd rather take that than Teferi.
