Basic theory goes like this: Put your expensive things in the graveyard with surveil or explore then bring them back over and over with Find // Finality (if you have to) or, by preference, Journey to Eternity // Atzal, Cave of Eternity.
By preference you can play one of the lower-cost creatures like Merfolk Branchwalker Jadelight Ranger or Ravenous Chupacabra then get Journey to Eternity // Atzal, Cave of Eternity on one of them. After that you try to transform it however you can. Hopefully you can sacrifice it with Vraska, Golgari Queen but even just hitting it with Cast Down will probably be worth it.
Having Verdant Sun's Avatar on board when you play or bring back a Pelakka Wurm heals you for 14, then you can block indefinitely or sacrifice the wurm with Vraska, Golgari Queen or Arguel's Blood Fast // Temple of Aclazotz.
All that life makes Doom Whisperer surveils basically free, and they're an excellent way to raise your chances of getting your valuable creatures into the graveyard for Journey to Eternity // Atzal, Cave of Eternity to bring back.
Vraska, Relic Seeker is here as a win condition basically... Her -3 'destroy something' is great utility, but all the 2/2 menace pirates and her -10 are what actually pays off most of the time. For example: I played against the 'Weenie White' decklist, chump blocked/stalled until I had 4hp and 6 mana, then started things off. Vraska, Relic Seeker into her -3 to barely keep her alive with one chump blocker. Next turn Verdant Sun's Avatar > third turn Pelakka Wurm to save my life. After that it very much became a game of just +2ing Vraska until I could ult. We both ended up with 50+ life, and stupid-wide boards, but all that menace and Vraska's ult was perfect.
Long story short: stall until you can get things started, pop something with Journey to Eternity // Atzal, Cave of Eternity on it, put your big creatures in the grave with explore or surveil, gain infinite life so you don't have to worry about dying anymore with Verdant Sun's Avatar and Pelakka Wurm, then swing through with Pelakka Wurm and/or Doom Whisperer or just ult Vraska, Relic Seeker.
