Description

Historic bo3

Deck: Grixis - "Mox Kroxa DRC"

This is rough draft version of the deck, the ratio's and card selections still need to be fine tuned for current bo3 historic meta. Early results are very promising as the deck has won multiple game 1's against tier 1 ladder decks. Almost beat #27 mythic ranked player but lost a close game 3 to very poor luck in terms of mulligans/early draws... and unoptimized sideboard.

The idea is simple; this deck works in two different attack vectors in two different situations:

- On the play we try to assemble either DRC turn 1 or Lazav/Mox/Kroxa by turn 3. Consistently this deck will let you attack with Kroxa by turn 3 or 4... 4 at the latest if we have to escape him out thanks to all the DRC surveil's. Multiple ways to achieve very early delirium.

- On the draw we have very good defense with hand disruption, removal and counter magic. Offers very adaptive lines of play. Sideboard and card selection needs to be tuned to make this line more effective.

Looking for pro players to offer feedback on this riff. At first glance this deck lacks synergy but that is deceiving as Mox Amber does trigger DRC, and Lazav offers perfect cohesion (and a reason to go to 12 creatures with DRC) with DRC and Kroxa as he can represent more copies of DRC and obviously the killer, an attacking kroxa on T3.

Thanks!

-Andy Clunie
