Hate having your beautiful monsters killed by cheap removals? Too bad, in this 2022 every deck plays just removal from t1 to t5s. This deck is an answer to this, and while protecting our monsters they get even stronger by means of counters.
Few comments:
Sarulf is not the most efficient beast, but is a scary thing to play and the opponent will soon cower. Plus, he is so bloody cool! Watch it against elves or goblins. Sorry, maybe next time, Sarulf-dear.
Grakmaw, great 'try again' response to 'I kill you', + Feign Death for lust. It is also bloody cool!
I was looking forward playing these two one cards and, finally, 2022 made it [almost] possible.
I wish I could include Vorinclex but, as usual, it turns out to be too slow other than in ramps.
Tips:
Play under curve? Nothing wrong with it, much better to leave one land untapped for a Snakeskin or Feign death than to commit your creature to sure removal, they will produce value and advantage for the next turn.
Westgate Regent is there as a test, I still haven't managed to use it, which means it might be taken out soon for a second Froghemoth or Gelatinous Cube (probably this latter one).
