Description

This is an idea that I've been kicking around for awhile.  When I first heard that there were going to be so many Planeswalkers released in War of The Spark, I wanted to find something that would do some serious damage to them all.  The basic idea behind the deck is to ramp up to drop Sarkhan's Unsealing, and then throw as many 7 power creatures onto the field to blast every creature/planeswalker/opponent.

Thankfully with the release of Core 20, the Rotting Regisaur became a very cheap 7 power creature.  Same thing with Inferno Hellion, it's a low cost 7 power creature.  If you get enough gates down you can drop a Gate Colossus for cheap too.  And bring it back if it gets sent to the graveyard.

Bound of Flourishing is there primarily for lifegain/stall/sort through unwanted cards.  As with the Plaza of Harmony, those are the only lifegain for this deck.  I used to run Blood Sun.  It speeds up dropping the gates quite a bit, but it also negates the healing aspect for Plaza of Harmony.  Also for speeding up the deck is Guild Summit, but I found running more than 2 becomes a waste.  I took out two Growth Spirals (originally runnig with 4), and replaced them with two Risk Factors.  I figured 1 more casting cost with potential for 8 damage, if they do not want to give you cards is worthwhile.  If they want to give you more cards, then it's much faster than Growth Spiral.

Yup, this deck is definitely janky.  Doubtful that it is competitive.  But when you drop a couple of big 7's, it feels good. Real good.  Especially, if they have dropped most of their creatures/planeswalkers and have knocked your life down below 10.  The comeback feeling with this deck is awesome.  It's a slow deck to get started, but fun when the combo is setup.

The Maybeboard I started slotting in a couple of cards to try and improve the list.  But I feel that when I add in Planeswalkers, they do not really fit with the theme of the deck.  I was originally running with Huatli, Warrior Poet, Deafening Clarions, and Ixalan's Binding when I had white in the mix.  Most of that was to gain life & deal with the cards that I couldn't blast with Sarkhan's Unsealing.  And it worked, mostly.  However, with the Core 2020 cards, I find the deck feels a bit tighter, and not spread out as much waiting for specific mana colours to cast.

As this is my first deck that I am publishing, I am open to comments to try and streamline the deck to make it more competitive.  Please let me know what you think.

Update:  I ran through Bronze, and Silver Ranked B01 pretty quickly, as I figured I would.  Those ranks are not too competitive.  I am currently working through Gold, and it's slower going, but still progressing.  I have noticed that most people dismiss Sarkhan's Unsealing.  The do not seem to realize that it gets triggered when the creatures are CAST, not when they enter the battlefield.  Most blue players ignore the enchantment thinking they will counterspell the creatures, but that still triggers the enchantment, regardless if they get counterspelled.
