Hey everyone, this deck is using Lurrus of the Dream-Den
as its companion.
Mainboard:
So this decks plan is to stick an early Ominous Seas
and then build it up with all of our card draw engines that I'm sure you're familar
with by now, we can even cycle other seas that we find to help out. birth of meletis is here to keep us alive in the early game and to
make sure we're hitting our land drops, this is definitely the most awkward card in the starting turns of the deck but I feel that it's a
necessary evil. Another card to keep us alive in the early game is Sleeper Dart
it plays along with our draw game plan and slows
a potential aggro gameplan down. The amount of cards that we filter through is insane, we're not too worried about running into control
decks that will make our Glass Casket
and Shatter the Sky
's dead cards because we will draw so many cards we will eventually
discard them for something that is actually useful against them. Alseid of Life's Bounty
is an all-star in this deck, the amount of things
this card does for us is incredible! If we have our Lurrus of the Dream-Den out and Alseid then we can sac him to protect our lurrus
and then just bring him right back! Also if we ended up with some krakens from our ominous seas we can give it protection from
whatever color the opponent has and swing in hard without being blocked or interacted with. Also, if an opponent is playing cards like
Bonecrusher Giant
and/or Brazen Borrower
and they to kill our Lurrus or an important enchantment like Ominous Seas then we
can just give it protection and send those nasty adventure cards straight into the graveyard. This deck used to use Fae of Wishes
but it just felt like it wasn't doing enough for the sacrifice we had to make for the sideboard.

Aether Gust
- I believe this card is going to be very important heading into Ikoria, considering it hits nearly everything in the set.
Devout Decree
- Just in here to potentially help us with some creatures or even an Ashiok, Dream Render
.
Soul-Guide Lantern
- In here to disrupt Uro of nature's wrath game plans, cat oven, other dance decks, combo, graveyard. It
recurs with Lurrus!
Teferi, Time Raveler
- Here to help us against control, draws for our seas.
Sorcerous Spyglass
- Mostly in here to shut up Witch's Oven

Heliod's Intervention
- Similar role as spyglass but more flexible and can stop us from dying.
Mystical Dispute
- here to help us against the gyruda decks and control.
