Learn more Download For WindowsThis deck is continuing evolution since the times of Felidar Retreat/Blade Historian weenies deck I ran with good success and greater joy awhile back. Today with the changes made to keep it standard; the guidance of an experienced MTG player thinking is now a Mono-White Ramping Control-slash-Reanimating Intrepid Adversary Engine deck; that plays itself with the Intrepid Adversary as a powerful one-turn finisher.
Since the arrival of the Phyrexians, the deck gained more of a diverse aggro style with Mondrak, Mother of Machine, and Plated Onslaught been curved-in and balanced with the Skrelv, Defector Mite, the Zenith Chronicler, and Lay Down Arms. The reliable early-game defensive combos of the High-Speed Hoverbike with the two-cost creatures of the deck are now more potent thanks to Plated Onslaught affinity cost. The Cathar Commando who rules never leaves when the top deck unfolds as designed maybe a little bit less frequently because of the expansion's new cards yet thanks to the addition of Recommission it isn't missed either.
Beware of decks with exiling defenses or with wide weenies for this will force a must strategical thinking since exiling hampers the decks residing angels' cards effectiveness and a continuance parade of low-costing creatures early might expose the lack of dependable frequency with the deck's wipe cards.
