Learn more Download For WindowsThe following deck is a Modified version of Hellogoodgame's Milky Smooth Mono white, Go check out his deck list on his Aether hub here: https://aetherhub.com/User/HelloGoodGame
How ever the changes have been made because of the Strict Proctor. This card in the deck means you can't take advantage of cards like Elite Spellbinder, Skyclave Apparition, Portable Hole, or Codespell Cleric.
But fear not! Because your hero has arrived in the form of Acererak the Archlich!
But wait, you might be saying, He gets bounced back to your hand for a some might call lame Dungeon Venturing effect. Normally, I'd say you were right. But in this case that is where the Strict Proctor comes into play!
Like the older combo of Hushbringer and Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, With Strict Proctor in play, It will counter Acerak's Enter the battlefield Ability unless you pay 2. Which we aren't going to do! We WANT that to counter. So then we get a 5/5 for 2B with a REALLY cool attacking effect!
But yes, we can't take advantage of ETB our selves other wise.. so Removal in the form of Baleful Mastery and Vanishing Verse as well as the Lesson Reduce to Memory have to take their places. Otherwise this is an Aggro Mono White Double spell Deck with Black Mostly as a splash. Taking advantage of Monk of the Open Hand and Clarion Spirit for Aggro racing and a Wide board. Use the Luminarch Aspirant to keep powering up your creatures. But don't forget to power up your army of weenies with Paladin Class!
We also have newly added Reidane, God of the Worthy for both slowing down enemy snow decks, and for her revese side Valkmira, Protector's Shield to reduce damage and further tax enemies when they try to target you. This means you have Proctor, Paladin Class, and Reidane for taxing spells in different ways!
Also don't forget you have a creature land in Cave of the Frost Dragon. Because of the ability for your Lands to be important and can some times matter between if you play that Brightclimb Pathway on White or Black, its why the deck isn't using Snow lands and Faceless Haven. Too many times do you get ruined by Faceless Haven's colorless mana throwing off your curve when running a 2 Color deck, with a spell like Vanishing Verse
Deadly Dispute was added in as a way to get some extra value out of the eyetwitch, or for a moment when you are being board wiped but have the mana open as a way to get some value out of it. The treasure ramp from Deadly Dispute is also valuable.
The "Lesson" board choices are mostly for versitility. Envionmental Sciences for mana Fixing. Expanded Anatomy to help get extra damage while preserving a block. Introduction to Prophecy for when you might just need to get an extra draw. Reduce to Memory for an extra spot removal for if you don't have a removal in hand, or need an extra one. And finally Mascot Exhibition for a late game effect to help you go super wide when you have that kind of mana. Though changes could easily be tweeked here to fit your taste!
Also if you like this deck, but there are cards you are missing, feel free to remove cards you don't have for cards you do. You don't have to Craft the Accerak + Strict Proctor. You can use other cards or go full Mono white like Hellogoodgame Does in his videos. That is also a very strong deck and it was how he reached Mythic! This deck how ever can be just as strong!
Some tips for the Deck, incase it wasn't obvious above and for the tl;dr people:
1: If you have a hand with Strict Proctor & Acererak the Archlich Turn 2 is Proctor, turn 3 is Acererak unless something needs to be delt with.
2: This is a Double spell Aggro deck, feel free to focus more on that if #1 isn't avaliable. Also don't hesitate, when you have the mana, to Acererak with out proctor for Double spell fun!
3: Sometimes you need to Turn 1 Paladin class vs. a creature depending on the deck you are facing to protect your early threats against spells like Frost Bite or other single target removal. So don't be afraid to do that.
4: You have plenty of ways to get into the air! Abuse that when you can!
5: When all else fails, try to have fun!
