Lord Windgrace is deceptively solid, and is a facilitator for the whole deck; Lord Windgrace IS not a crazy engine or a win condition, but he’s the workhorse that’ll make the deck run smooth as butter.
His plus (+) and minus (-) abilities are all you could ask for in terms of “lands matter”: card advantage; pitches lands into the graveyard; ramps, triggers landfall; moves lands from the graveyard; and probably more. His ultimate might as well be flavor text because that should not be the game plan here.
He’s Jund (BRG), he’s grindy and he certainly provides value. And your deck doesn’t fall to pieces if he eats removal. Even though we only have one option for Jund Lands I’m glad it’s him.
The advertised theme of this deck is Lands Matter, with some inclination toward token generation and graveyard synergy, and a smiggin of +1/+1 counters.
With all of these lands coming into our hand and play, we need a way to generate advantage prior to reaching our top end. Lord Windgrace is one card draw engine, but we’ll need more in order to keep up...

Between sending our own lands to the graveyard and other players interacting with our field, we will need a way to use our already expended resources...

This summary is still a work in progress, and ask for your patience. Of course there are other mechanics associated with this deck that we need to discuss, and I will get to them. However, I am trying to keep the deck within a sensible budget in addition to being competitive. Please enjoy and leave comment/suggestions.
