Description

Korvold's Invention but with Dragons and Sarkhan.

Went 14-2, after 11/30/2019 Season change.

A turn 3 Sarkhan or Korvold is possible. A turn 4 is more average.

First off, this is an intricate deck, just like the Korvold's Invention. THis deck has its own "ramp" with Arboreal Grazer and Deathsprout. I have had 8 mana out on turn 5, typically I will have about 6 mana out on turn 5.

With the Fires of Invention and Korvold to allow for multiple spells in a turn...

- Play Sarkhan and then Korvold (sac fires to Korvold) and you will be able to play more spells with your mana. - With Korvold on the board and able to attack, you can play an Escape to the Wilds and a Sarkhan, then attack with Korvold (sac fires) and cast more spells after combat.

Of course you can cast other spells as board state dictates, however these would be the best value plays available in the current decklist.

Garruk can be put in, in place of Sarkhan for a different style of play, however I have found that Sarkhan being able to prevent aggro decks, is the best design.

Edit 11/30/2019: Changed to more straightforward and faster version, removed Vraska, Golgari Queen and a few others.

This is the current untapped.gg Deck listed. I have others dealing with Korvold, and different versions of the Sarkhan/Korvold deck as well.

About Torasu

Magic is an elaborate game of chess, played with an infinite selection and combination of cards combined into 60 card decks. Showing your imagination and making "jank" non-jank, with balance across the curve is what every "True" Magic The Gathering Wizard should strive for.

My deck's are generally designed as "Toolbox" decks. Most of the cards work with eachother in some way or another. If you can understand the flows, then you can play as is.
