Add at least 100 different cards to your collection and set it as your Compare Collection on the manage page to see what cards from this deck you are missing.
Compare your MTG Arena Collection with AetherHub decklists or any other decks found on the web with the MTGA Assistant extension. Syncing your account will automatically upload your collection so you can see what cards you are missing right here.
Learn more Download For WindowsThe strategy is to remove all threats and draw cards with Fountain of Renewal + Dawn of Hope, Treasure Map // Treasure Cove until you overwhelm the enemy by creating infinite 4/4 angels with Divine Visitation + Dawn of Hope, Memorial to Glory and other big angels.
I've been grinding with this deck exclusively in MTGA Bo1 Constructed Ranked and so far made it to Diamond Rank.
This deck is designed to stand a good chance against every archetype.
Control is the most difficult to play against however once you learn what to expect from your opponents hands and play around their Counterspells you can outvalue them with cards like Dawn of Hope.
Midrange decks are favourable match-ups thanks to the amount of removal and boardclears.
Aggro decks like RDW will have a hard time keeping up with the extent of healing potential this deck has.
The deck has plenty removal against anything (creatures, enchantments and planeswalkers) and many cards will snowball if they get to stick.
Your enchantments are what will win you the most games you have to watch out for cards like Vivien Reid, Thrashing Brontodon, Vraska, Relic Seeker, Assassin's Trophy, Knight of Autumn. So Golgari and other Green(ish) decks can be a bit tough, but generally you're gonna have more threats than they have removal for. The same goes of course for decks running Counterspells, Cleansing Nova or Mortify.
When facing Teferi decks the best strategy is to keep drawing cards and let your opponent do the first step. Don't just waste your Duress too early - save them for the turn you really want to play something to deal with their Counterspells first. You need to always have your removals ready for when your opponent plays Teferi. If Vraska's Contempt is in your hand you need to always keep enough mana open to be able to play it on his turn. And if he doesn't play a Teferi while you have Dawn of Hope on the field you can just keep making dudes at the end of his turn to flood the board. You should use Memorial to Folly on Plaguecrafter to get more out of your removal. If up against Jeskai or Izzet try to use your Vraska's Contempt for planeswalkers first so you have Plaguecrafter or Eldest Reborn ready for when you need to deal with a Niv-Mizzet, Parun.
If you have Memorial to Glory or Dawn of Hope with Divine Visitation on the field make sure to always pop them right at the end of the opponents turn to avoid sorcery removal (unless you need to use your Angels to block - then do it right after they declared their attackers).
Keep in mind that you can put a stop at your next upkeep step which lets you activate Treasure Map // Treasure Cove before you draw your card.
In Bo3 if you win the coin flip and you don't know what you're up against -> Play first.
If the opponent plays Aggro or Midrange -> Play first.
If the opponent plays Control -> Draw first.
Mulligan any hand with only 2 lands unless you're going second and have Treasure Map // Treasure Cove or Fountain of Renewal + Dawn of Hope. Any hand with at least 3 lands is fine to keep. You will probably draw into something that allows you to stabilize by turn 4 - you just never want to be mana screwed by then.
Don't have all the cards or looking to make adjustments to adapt to the meta? Here's what I wouldn't change in the list:
5x *Boardclear* - at least 5 are needed to consistently deal with Midrange and Aggro
4x Fountain of Renewal - vital against Aggro, never a dead card in any match-up, DoH trigger
4x Plaguecrafter - to not auto-lose to Jeskai, Esper, Izzet
4x Vraska's Contempt - to not auto-lose to Jeskai, Esper, Izzet
4x Memorial to Glory - almost as important as DoH when it comes to making angels
3x Dawn of Hope - 2 are too few, 4 will lead to drawing multiples
2x Divine Visitation - same as with DoH, with 2 chances are good you will draw into one late-game
If you tried the deck yourself please leave a comment - I'd love to hear how it's been going for you!

Fact is I enjoy playing with this variant of the deck and it's good enough to reach at least Diamond rank in Arena. If there was more time left this season I'd push for Mythic, but that'll have to wait for next season.
I really don't care about your opinion on what decks you feel like are better. Just play those decks then.
Do not know in which universe your deck is better than this https://aetherhub.com/Deck/Public/65911
You are too afraid of the opponent for the few possibilities in which what you say may happen.
To have angeles this seems to me very superior https://aetherhub.com/Deck/Public/54009
I cut Resplendent Angel because too often it's just a 3/3 creature that dies to something like a Lightning Strike. Many times it felt bad drawing into it. The new angels should be more impactful more often.
I didn't feel the need for Tocatli in maindeck so far in this meta as Golgari seems much rarer now. I'd consider cutting the Plaguecrafters if you want to run them as they will get disabled by them. Treasure Maps are pretty cool for more consistent card draw and the ramp they give.
This deck is at it's strongest in dealing with creature heavy decks so Orzhov Enforcer's Deathtouch doesn't add very much. Tithe Taker fits well into the deck but I don't think I'd cut Vraska's Contempt for it. VC is just too important for dealing with planeswalkers and is overall just good against so many popular decks like RDW because of the healing. You want to be able to exile things for creatures like Gate Colossus, Rekindling/Arclight Phoenix, Midnight Reaper, etc.
I have not needed any Vraska's Contempt, would not it be better to put Orzhov Enforcer or Tithe Taker? The rest also seems to me to be half fabricated, I have a black and red that does much more than this, I feel that I have lost a lot of jokers for something that is not worth it.
You can check my rank and recent W/L with the deck here if you don't believe me: https://mtgarena.pro/u/sant0sch/
