Learn more Download For WindowsGoblins are fun to play! Especially when the only thing you do is sacrificing the poor things, throwing them into the bin only the bring them back pissed off and ready to kick ass.
This deck revolves around Getting Gate to the Afterlife into play, then sacrifing Goblins, drawing more cards, gaining life and trying to get 6 creatures into the graveyard as fast as you can before fetching God-Pharaoh's Gift and bring them back to life. The card you really want in the graveyard is Combat Celebrant to trigger combat step multiple times with Gift bringing more celebrants and creatures up for Graveyard the same turn. This deck can also beat down the opponent fast with small goblins as an alternate wincon.
Gate to the Afterlife
The heart of the combo, this what you want to play turn 3. We have Tormenting voice to dig for this card. As soon as you get this start sacrificing your goblins and throw creatures into the graveyard and draw more cards.
God-Pharaoh's Gift
The wincon of the deck, remember that the Gate will fetch this from your hand, Library or Graveyard. So it does not matter if it is stuck in your hand or you throw it in the graveyard. Be careful if the opponent is white because he can run Cast out and remove it.
Combat Celebrant
This guy you want in the graveyard for the combo, if you decide to play him be aware that there is a lot of exile removal and you do not want this guy in exile.
Fanatical Firebrand
Good for an early beatdown, really good with a Gate as it can sac itself and trigger drawing new cards.
Skirk Prospector
This guy is awesome in this deck, with a Gate out he can sacrifice any goblin to fill the graveyard, he makes red mana to play additional goblins and in combo with the Gate triggers he just runs away with the game and helps us easily fulfill our conditions.
Wily Goblin
Kind of a filler in the deck, but he does ramp and he combos with Skirk Prospector
Goblin Chainwhirler
Great for on curve beatdown and destroying 1 toughness creatures, helps us beatdown the opponent and distract him while we search for Gates.
Tormenting Voice
This is really helpful, throw things in the graveyard, put the Gift you drew there or a highcost creature that is not useful and draw two cards. This is really important if you do not have a Gate on your hand.
Rowdy Crew
The crap mythic. Well not in this deck, he is really strong! The ability to get cards in the graveyard makes these drunken pirates really good in this deck. The only issue is that you do not want to play him with a gate in your hand so play that first. I might even consider more of him instead of Glorybringer.
