Description

Rat deck. I played it a lot to make it perfectly balanced. I started with a lot of "Rat Colony". And it can win, because it is really agressive. But playing it a lot i realized that there's also a lot of deck that have the tools to remove this little rats. Adding the " Piper" was necessary. Giving menace to all of the rats, making new ones AND being able to steal opponent creatures, just perfect!

For the rats : "pack rats" are wonderful, "Thyphoid Rats" for one mana are very good to, "Rat Colony" is very important. I am not so sure about " Drainpipe vermin". Trying to have four in the deck i realized i did not use the discard very often. So i put only two to have 6 rats that cost one mana, always good to begin with cheap rats in hand. "Bulgar Rats" are better, but more expensive.. And you don't want to have too many Bulgar Rats 1/1 for two mana in middle or late game, so i tried with 3, and it seems to go better.

I discovered the "Slumlord Ogre" after having tried this deck many times. I started with two, but it is soooo good that i had to put an other one. And even if he is expensive, he's a wonderful rat lord, giving deathtouch and being able to create a lot of that little rats! ( imagine sacrifying three rats with the pipe to steal a creature and having three new rats coming for no mana, so good!) Phyrexian tower can help to pay his cost quicker.

Then i realized that against a lot of deck i lost when i was just about to kill the opponent with losing all my creatures and nothing in hand.. So i put the "phyrexian arena", and i am not sure of the good number, three or four? Since i have it, even if it can make me lose some time, i can also put a terrible pressure on the opponent with a lot of rats! And if i have the "Pack Rats" on table and no need of the arena, i just discard it and create a new pack rat! The "Bloodchief's thirst" is such a good card, how not to have it?"Inscription of ruin" was added later and it helped me a lot of time with it versatility.

I don't know if i found the most stable version. I managed to beat a lot of very different decks, from aggro to control, but i also lost games i was sure to win... Strange deck, but very funny! Try it if you want, and if you think there's cards to add or to remove, tell me!

Sorry for my english, not my first language!
